Rumor: GTA 6 coming to PC in the first quarter of 2027
GamesBeat, citing four anonymous sources, places the PC version at most four months after the console launch.
According to a GamesBeat report based on four anonymous industry sources, Rockstar plans to release the PC version of Grand Theft Auto VI within the first quarter of 2027, meaning before the end of March. Rockstar has not announced a PC version and there is no official statement: this is a rumor.
The PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions are scheduled for November 19. If the window holds, PC players would wait far less than for GTA 5, which took about a year and seven months to reach PC, or GTA 4, about seven months, as VGC notes. Former Rockstar producer John Ricchio tells that outlet that prioritizing consoles is about managing resources rather than any hostility toward PC.
