God of War Laufey's collector's edition does not include the game
The Collector Box costs £130 in the UK and €149.99 in Spain, according to outlets.
Sony has opened pre-orders for the God of War Laufey Collector Box, which first appeared on the Spanish PlayStation Store without prior announcement. It contains a light-up resin statue, a 51-card Oracle deck and a mini artbook, but not the game, which must be bought separately. Kotaku puts the UK price at £130; Vandal gives €149.99 for Spain.
Kotaku, in an opinion piece by John Walker, argues the omission is deliberate and unjustified, and recalls that the 2023 God of War Ragnarök special editions shipped with download-code problems. GameSpot likewise stresses that, unlike the standard and digital deluxe editions that went up for pre-order last month, this one is purely a box of merchandise.
