Battlefield 6 is now available through EA Play for Game Pass Ultimate subscribers, per Xbox Wire, and can also be played with Xbox PC Game Pass and in the cloud. EA Play includes unlimited access, a Season 5 pack and recurring rewards, plus 10% off the Ultimate Shortcut Kit and Battlefield Pro.
EA has also released a Game of the Year Edition, which is not part of the subscription and must be bought separately. According to Push Square, it repackages the launch Phantom Edition and adds shortcut kits for every class. The outlet notes dryly that the game won just one GOTY award according to a tracking site covering about 700 outlets. GameSpot also reports a $30 microtransaction that instantly unlocks all guns at 100% mastery.
