Ocarina of Time on Switch 2 gets a midnight launch at Best Buy on November 5

The retailer will sell limited units of the Zelda Switch 2 and Pro Controller, which have sold out in many stores.

Best Buy will open select US stores at midnight ET on Thursday, November 5 for the launch of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on Switch 2, a rarity in the digital era. According to Nintendo Life, it will offer limited units of the Zelda 40th-anniversary console and Pro Controller at select stores, with no guarantee that everyone who shows up will get one.

Kotaku notes that pre-orders for the console and controller had already sold out at Best Buy and Target, and that Walmart still appeared to let shoppers add a console to the cart. Nintendo Australia, meanwhile, has announced a limited shipment of the Zelda Pro Controller for pre-purchase in its store, with no date.
