Ubisoft has announced that Rainbow Six Mobile will shut down in mid-January 2027. The game had been in testing since 2023 but only launched globally in February 2026, meaning it won't reach a full year of general availability.
The company called it a “difficult decision”. According to Kotaku, despite millions of downloads the game failed to hold on to its audience, adding to Ubisoft's recent run of live-service stumbles.
