Bit Reactor, the studio behind tactical strategy game Star Wars Zero Company, has begun bringing back the employees it furloughed without pay shortly before launch. CEO Greg Foertsch says the aim is to bring back “as many people as possible”.
According to Game Developer, the measure affected more than 80% of staff, and more than half of them are returning this week on the back of the game's strong commercial start. The title is published by Electronic Arts. Whether they will share in the launch profits remains unclear.
