The first reviews of Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen are in and they are largely positive: Push Square gives it 9/10 and calls it a “transformative” expansion, RPGFan 95/100, IGN and But Why Tho? 8/10, and RPGamer 3.5/5.
The expansion arrives this week on all platforms, coinciding with the game's debut on Nintendo Switch 2, where it comes bundled in. According to Nintendo Life, that version runs without notable technical issues. The consensus: essential for fans of the original, though unlikely to convert anyone who bounced off it.
